Boiled chicken stew with vegetables is a delicious hot dish, which is very simple to prepare from available products. This dish will appeal to both adults and children, it can also be included in a not very strict dietary menu, when you need to eat something hearty, while not fried and not fatty. To prepare the dish, you need to boil the chicken in a broth with vegetables in advance. I recommend boiling potato soup on the remaining broth, and use the chicken for this recipe. Chicken legs or thighs are ideal for cooking, and the white breast fillet will turn out dry, it is better to make cutlets or stew from it.

- 4 thighs of boiled chicken;
- 500 g of new potatoes;
- 4 carrots;
- 1 onion;
- 150 g of green peas;
- 200 ml of milk;

- 15 g of wheat flour;
- salt, green basil, chicken stock.

If there is a cooked boiled chicken - excellent, if not - it does not matter, you can cook it quickly. Place chicken thighs in a pan, add vegetables (for example, carrots, onions, parsnips, a bunch of fresh herbs and a couple of garlic cloves), spices and seasonings, salt, bring to a boil, cook over low heat for 45 minutes. Filter the broth - suitable for soup, and we use chicken for cooking this dish.
In a roasting pan or pan with a thick bottom, put the butter, pour the vegetable. Peel the onion head from the husk, cut finely. Throw chopped onion into the melted butter, pour 2-3 tablespoons of chicken broth.

Cut the carrots into thick circles. When the onion becomes almost transparent, put the chopped carrots in a roasting pan, fry with the onion for a few more minutes.
Young potatoes are thoroughly washed with a brush or washcloth with an abrasive layer. Cut the potatoes into 2-4 parts, add to the fried vegetables.

Pour a little water or chicken broth, cover the roasting pan with a lid, cook the vegetables on low heat for about 20 minutes, at the end, salt to taste.

Pour wheat flour into a bowl, pour in a little cold milk, mix the flour with milk with a whisk until a homogeneous mass without lumps is obtained.
Pour the flour, ground in milk, into the roasting pan, cover with a lid, simmer on the smallest fire for about 10 more minutes to thicken the sauce.
