Buckwheat Porridge Ingredients with Minced Eggs and Onions
- 150 g of buckwheat;
- 2 large onions;
- 4 chicken eggs;
- 1 teaspoon of ground sweet paprika;
- a bunch of green onions;
- 20 g melted butter;
- 15 ml of vegetable oil;
- salt, white pepper.
The method of preparation of buckwheat porridge with chopped eggs and onions
Cooking buckwheat. In a pan with a thick bottom, put ghee, heat. Pour the cereal into the melted butter, fry until golden brown over low heat for several minutes. Pour 300 ml of boiling water, pour a teaspoon of salt (without a slide). After boiling, close the pan with a lid tightly, cook for about 25 minutes on low heat. If there is no ghee, then pour a little refined vegetable and add 1-2 tablespoons of ordinary cream. In this case, fry quickly so that the oil does not burn.
Cut the peeled onions very finely. In the warmed vegetable oil, fry the onion for about 12 minutes, I advise you to salt it right away so that the onion releases juice, so it will be tastier.
Pour boiled buckwheat into a large bowl. Beans pre-fried in butter are saturated with the aroma of butter, and buckwheat is very friable.
Add the fried onions, mix and cool a little.
Hard boiled eggs for about 8-10 minutes after boiling water, cool in ice water, clean, chop finely. Add chopped eggs to buckwheat and onion. We leave half the eggs to decorate the dish.
Season with finely chopped green onions, pour ground sweet paprika, pepper, freshly ground white pepper. White pepper is not as sharp as black pepper and, in my opinion, is more suitable for this dish. No more seasoning is needed; oil is sufficiently added in the previous stages of the recipe.
Mix and immediately serve. We decorate buckwheat porridge with chopped eggs and onions with half a hard-boiled egg. You can serve the dish on the table and hot, and warm, and cold. Enjoy your meal!
In my opinion, the most delicious combination of products is this “salad” of buckwheat and meat patties, not important pork, beef or chicken, but with a golden crust, hot, and juicy inside.
