A simple fish salad with saury is easy to prepare in less than half an hour, even if you don’t have enough vegetables boiled in their uniforms. This method of cooking vegetables is used when you need to cook not only tasty, but also a beautiful snack - raw vegetables are easier to cut into identical cubes. - 2 medium potatoes;
- 1 carrot;
- 2 chicken eggs;
- 200 g canned peas;
- 1 can of saury in its own juice;
- 60 g pickled cucumbers;
- a small bunch of chives;
- 100 g mayonnaise;
- sweet paprika, salt, laurel leaf.
A method of preparing a simple fish salad with saury
We clean raw potatoes and carrots, cut them into cubes about half a centimeter in size. Put the chopped vegetables in a saucepan, pour a teaspoon of salt, put a leaf of lavrushka.
Pour 1.5 liters of boiling water into the stewpan, quickly bring the vegetables to a boil over high heat, cook for several minutes until cooked. Use non-friable potatoes for this fish salad recipe. We discard the finished vegetables on a sieve, when the water drains, pour it onto a board or plate, quickly cool.
Put the cooled vegetables in a salad bowl, add canned green peas.
Add chopped small pickled cucumbers. To make the salad delicious, try to cut the ingredients the same way, and a pea will serve as a guide in the size of the path.
Boil the hard boiled eggs, cool, clean, separate the protein from the yolk. We cut the egg whites into cubes and add to the rest of the ingredients. While egg yolks are set aside, they will be needed to decorate fish salad.
Finely chop the chives, put in the salad. Chives, unlike ordinary chives, are not so sharp, for salads, especially in spring, this is an ideal choice.
We put saury, canned in our own juice, onto a plate, knock out the bones, divide the fish into large pieces and send it to the salad bowl last so that the pieces are kept intact. Then add mayonnaise, salt to taste and mix thoroughly.
On a fine grater, rub the egg yolks, add the remaining mayonnaise and a little ground sweet paprika to the grated yolks, mix to make a thick, uniform paste. Paprika mixes with yolk, the paste turns bright - a great idea for decorating snacks.
We spread the fish salad with saury in the salad bowl, in the center we make a small depression.
In the cavity we spread the paste of egg yolks with mayonnaise, decorate with chives and sprinkle with finely chopped greens. A simple fish salad with saury is ready, immediately serve it on the table. Enjoy your meal!
By the way, if you cut the ingredients, but did not season them with mayonnaise, then place them in a dry jar or plastic container, in this form you can store up to 18 hours. A salad seasoned with mayonnaise should not be stored in the refrigerator for more than 9 hours at a temperature of 0 to +3 degrees Celsius.
