However, the traditional "picnic" food can be prepared at home, it will turn out just as tasty. The most important thing is that the company has what it takes! In the market, choosing meat, ask the seller for some wide and meaty plates of pork ribs. There should be a lot of meat and little fat on the ribs - this is the key to success, since there are ribs for soup on sale, from which meat is cut almost completely.
In addition, in an oriental spice shop, stock up with paprika powder, and in a Chinese shop, buy concentrated soy sauce. These seasonings will help to prepare a chic barbecue at home. It is good to have liquid smoke to create a bonfire flavor, but not everyone likes it. Someone considers liquid smoke a useless additive, and many like this smell, here, as they say, they do not argue about tastes.

Ingredients for Pork Ribs in the Oven with Honey Sauce
- 2 kg of pork ribs.
- 10 g of powder, ground sweet paprika;
- 30 ml of soy sauce;
- 35 g Dijon mustard;
- 20 ml of balsamic vinegar;
- 50 ml of vegetable oil;
- salt, liquid smoke to taste.
For honey sauce
- 40 g of honey;
- 50 g of tomato ketchup;
- 30 g butter;
- fresh herbs for serving.
The method of cooking pork ribs in the oven with honey sauce
We cut the ribs in small sections - 3-4 ribs per section, so it will be convenient to cook and turn.
Rub the meat with salt and powdered ground sweet paprika. This powder gives a bright color, a delicious smell, while sweet paprika will not burn your tongue and palate.
Next, pour soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, put Dijon mustard, add liquid smoke according to the recommendations on the package (optional). Mix everything thoroughly, then pour with vegetable oil and remove to marinate in the refrigerator for 6 hours.
You can bake pork ribs in the oven with honey sauce in different ways. One way is to wrap the ribs in several layers of foil, bake until ready, then unfold the foil, grease the meat with sauce and brown under the grill.
And you can do this: grease the refractory form with vegetable oil, put the ribs, cover with foil and send to the oven heated to 180 degrees for 60 minutes.
While the meat is fried, prepare the sauce. In a water bath, heat the butter with ketchup and honey until the mass becomes homogeneous.
